Massive Apartment Fire in Detroit – Your Help Is Urgently Needed!

St. Vincent de Paul is helping our neighbors in need after the massive four-alarm fire at an apartment building on Detroit’s west side Wednesday morning.

Several people are unaccounted for, three residents were hospitalized and one fire fighter was injured after a massive four-alarm fire at an apartment building Wednesday morning on Detroit’s west side.

Three people were taken to the hospital. Some were being treated for injuries they sustained from jumping out of windows. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

In all, about 25 people were rescued by firefighters.

    so if I use the one of the drop boxes in my city to donate linens and clothing, will it be given to the families impacted by this fire?

  2. Not necessarily, but it will go to help someone who is in need. To get it to one of the families affected by the fire you would need to take it into one of our stores and tell them you would like it to go to that project.
